“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
(Hebrews 11:1)
I’ve always found that verse both comforting and confronting.
It speaks of certainty, but in things we cannot touch. It offers evidence, but not the kind you can hold in your hand. And yet, it’s the verse I return to when everything else feels slippery.
This blog, The Eleven One was born from that tension.
I’m not here to preach. I’m not here to perform spiritual certainty. I’m here to write from the middle. The place where belief is real but not always easy, where grace is beautiful but often inconvenient and where questions don’t always come with answers.
You might find diary style reflections here.
You might find scripture wrestled with, not just quoted.
You might find stories that feel unfinished, because sometimes, they are. But if you’re someone who’s ever sat in the quiet and wondered whether hope is enough, I think you’ll feel at home here.
New posts will arrive every Sunday evening.
I hope you’ll walk this road with me.
